Most ladies have a variety of dresses and gowns stashed somewhere in their closet, even if they don’t wear them quite often. Most save their wedding ensemble, though that might be saved and out of the way. Others have dresses from events they have attended, and they could have been a bridesmaid a time or 2 for mates.

Those that live only in jeans and tee shirts still have one or two in the back of the closet for stuff like funerals and job interviews because they know they’re going to want them from time to time. Dresses and robes can frequently go neglected because they’re not worn as frequently as other items in the closet and are pushed back and forgotten till they’re required. Your wedding gown should stay with you so long as you’re still married, and though it might not seem as if it, it could be something your child will need to wear, even if she turns her nose up at it when she’s younger.

Older dresses can be hemmed and changed to make them into more modern dresses, and things come into style occasionally. If a dress is special, do not let any one tell you that you have got to get rid of it. Just part with dresses and robes that are outdated and have no special sentimental value to them. That’s the way to keep your closet in controllable order.
